Being a writer was one of my first identities; before I was a schoolgirl, before I was a best friend.

In 2015, I swapped stories in notebooks for articles on here. As a young teen growing up in Manchester, I wrote about music, fashion and my growing opinions.

I’ve always been a creative, but with a relentlessly analytical brain. I’m a thinker, a feeler and a dreamer. Over here we laugh together and cry together. This is a record of a young girl becoming a woman and through all of that, finding salvation in writing.
